This video for My Gift to America features Jun Hao Su, a teacher at our school. We are middle school students from San Francisco High School of the Arts (SFHSA). We made a 1 minute video about his journey to America as a Chinese immigrant and an event in his life that changed his perspective on himself and his new country. Our team made this video to spread his story and show how he became – in the words of his ESL teacher – a gift to America. We filmed together in Chinatown and at our school. Hailey Yu was the camerawoman and Lucas Luu was the editor and sound person. With the help of our other classmates: Ivy Vong, Preston Young, Aiden Yu, and Diora Hatamova, we were able to create the video that we are proud to present to you today.
