“Pho Brought to You” In 1975, over one million South Vietnamese fled by makeshift boats. More died at sea than made it to the U.S. Now American citizens, they brought you Pho and care authentically about America. • Following 9/11/2001 Viet Dinh proposed a framework to protect America’s security that was signed into law by President Bush one month later. The PATRIOT Act. • Anh Duong led a team to deliver a thermobaric weapon in the record time of 67 days. American soldiers could destroy bunkers without sending ground troops into battle zones, swiftly toppling the Taliban. • David Tran sold hot sauce out of his van, then decided to manufacture and sell everywhere under the iconic Sriracha brand. Nobody eats Pho without Sriracha now. • Quyen Phan opened five Vietnamese Pho restaurants. In 2017, to inspire kindness among his customers, he launched Pay It PHOward, giving free Pho to random customers. Rejoice!
