29 Chinese Chamber of Commence of Arizona

Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Arizona was funded in 1939. It is older than its counterparts in Los Angles, Chicago, and New York City. We are here in Arizona for more than 85 years. 85 years ago, the Chamber members held over 100 grocery stores and over 30 restaurants. We have been instrumental in building local economy since the early 20th century. We belong here since the day one of Arizona’s economy. During World War I and II, many of Chamber’s members answered the call of duty. D.H. Toy, injured in France during WWI, and received “Purple Heart” Award. His son, William Toy, received five honor awards and achieving the rank of Colonel. His second son, Grey Toy, served in the legendary “Flying Tigers” under Commander Chennault. We belong here and proudly served our country. We proudly declare: We belong here.
