In Memory of Don Sun 永遠懷念 孫曉光 In early spring of February 2024, former US presidential candidate and current New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Yang flew from New York to California, specifically to visit the primary leader of his campaign team, Mr. Don Sun, who was bravely battling cancer in the hospital. It is with deep sorrow that we received the devastating news of his passing on March 13th while in the hospital. Let us mourn his loss, and we will forever cherish his memory. Don Sun, came from Beijing, graduated from China People’s University. He was an outstanding leader in the Chinese-American community, making significant contributions to the integration and development of the community in the United States. His passing is a great loss to the Chinese-American community, but the spirit and influence he leaves behind will continue to inspire more people to strive for the construction of a fairer and more inclusive society. He will always belong here.
