Hi, my name is Jeffery Zhang. I’m a 26 year old Chinese American, and I make funny videos for a living! Ever since I was little, laughing and seeing others smile has given me a sense of fulfillment and belonging. My parents named me Tianliang, which can be interpreted as Dawn, daybreak, or simply, “the sun is out”. I think it’s a perfect name for me, because I want to share warmth and happiness with the people around me. Just like the sun comes out every day, I find a reason to smile every day. My content is inspired by my favorite shows, my hobbies, and my own life experiences. Dancing, music, fitness/exercise, and asian culture. My goal in making these videos is to make people laugh and to encourage them to never be ashamed of their passions, goals, and dreams. I know that when I do silly things in front of the camera, I’m also showing millions of people on Tiktok, Instagram, and Youtube how to free yourself from stress; to have fun and not be embarrassed of who you are. I want to tell my audience: wherever you are, whatever you choose to do, you belong here. As Asian Americans, all of us belong right here.
