#92. Kanica Suy, My Gift to America
Kanica Suy, an entrepreneur, and writer of Cambodian and Chinese descent, was born in the Khao I Dang refugee camp. She is the founder of Cultivate Entertainment where she manages a diverse roster of domestic and international artists across acting, writing, and directing. As a life coach and career consultant, Kanica has also facilitated mindset-focused workshops and spoken on panels discussing the business of acting. As a registered 200-hour Yoga Alliance instructor, Kanica teaches weekly classes at her local library and community studio. She holds an MFA in Psychology from Antioch University and a BA in English Literature from the UCLA Kanica is a proud alumna mentor and board member of the non-profit Inner-City Filmmakers, and a rescue mom to a schipperke pup, and a thoroughbred horse.
