Embarking from Shandong to America on a visiting scholar visa, I sought not just education but transformation. Disillusioned by the educational system I left behind, I was determined to explore, learn, and ultimately contribute to a system that values diversity, creativity, and personal growth. San Jose has become not just a place of study but a beacon of hope, where I’m working towards my master’s degree to shape the future of American education. My goal is to empower my students to achieve their dreams, guiding them to discover their true potential. This journey is a testament to the courage of starting anew, embracing challenges, and making a difference.
